Royalty recently serviced my VW Phaeton. I was hearing what I thought was a "bad bearing" sound when the car was moving above 20 MPH and suspected either wheel bearings, CV joints or the front differential. They tested car with microphones attached near the suspected areas and concluded that what I was hearing was simply noise from the high performance tires, which I have since learned are known for such. I am very pleased with the diagnosis and the less expensive fix necessary to cure the noise. I don't need tires that can go 186 MPH. I want tires that are safe for how I drive and are quite. When I was young and hot roding I would probably have be proud to boast that my tires could hold up at such speed even though my 57 chevy would not have gone that fast. Marion Davis
